WordPress Developer

We are looking for a strong WordPress Developer to support our team. You will be working on extending and maintaining backend functionalities for projects of different sizes and scopes, together with our experienced team of developers.

What you bring

  • Proven knowledge of PHP coding, design, analysis, development and maintenance
  • Proven knowledge of WordPress coding standards and the ability to develop themes and plugins from scratch
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS is a plus) and JavaScript
  • Logical & analytical skills to solve complex issues
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Result-oriented, ability to think out of the box
  • An eye for detail and the ability to implement designs pixel perfect

Good to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Digital Ocean, Pantheon
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and well versed with tools like GitLab
  • Ability to use Git
  • Knowledge of German and/or Dutch

What to expect

We provide long-term development support for our clients, often in collaboration with their internal marketing and development teams. You will be able to work on these projects from anywhere together with our team of developers. In collaboration with them, you help deliver the best solutions for our clients as well as update existing projects. Ideally, you are a full stack developer and know your way around both the frontend (themes, styling) and backend (plugin development, custom PHP integrations) of WordPress.
